Following the transfer of the HOA from the home builder to the residents, the board is currently reviewing our covenants. As part of that work, some neighbors have asked whether the HOA could simply be dissolved.
At this time, eliminating the HOA is not advisable. A key reason is our community mailboxes: the U.S. Postal Service delivers to our centralized cluster box unit, but it does not own or maintain those boxes — that responsibility belongs to the HOA. Without an association to hold, maintain, repair, and replace the mailbox cluster, and to serve as the single point of contact USPS requires, mail delivery for the entire neighborhood could be put at risk.
More information will be shared and updated here online as the review moves forward.
No formal approval is required for exterior projects at this time — just follow the community covenants and keep neighbors in mind. Not sure if something fits? Reach out to the board anytime.
Keep lawns mowed and yards tidy. Well-kept properties benefit every home's value in the neighborhood.
Follow neighborhood parking guidelines. No long-term parking of inoperable or commercial vehicles on the street.
Leash pets and clean up after them. Be considerate of neighbors.
